— Greys Anatomy (@GreysABC) September 20, 2019So, do Meredith and Alex finally end up in combination on Grey's Anatomy?
Early on in the series, Meredith is very close with Sandra Oh's Cristina Yang, who she calls her "person." However, Alex sooner or later transforms into Meredith's "person" and the 2 develop extremely shut over the process the sequence. However, they develop into a lot more like shut siblings than fanatics, although it seems like a herbal are compatible for them to finally get in combination. Right now, at least with Season 16, that it seems that is not in the cards so much.
As a long way as relationships go, "love" as we realize it has but to officially blossom between Meredith and Alex. As issues these days stand, Alex is in fact in a dating with female friend Jo Wilson. The pair have been married in Season 15, and issues have appeared rather quiet and positive for them so far – save for the truth that, it appears, to start with, they did not send in their bureaucracy to make their marriage legitimate. It turns out that this could be the catalyst for his or her break-up, but to this point it hasn't been.
With that in thoughts and with Jo present process treatment for depression, she offers Alex an "out" so he does not have to "deal with her," noting that their marriage is not technically prison. Alex informs her that he isn't interested in leaving, and as a substitute he will get on one knee and proposes to her all over once more to make it "real" this time around. That kind of throws a wrench in the whole seeing Meredith and Alex in combination thing, a minimum of for now.
What does the future hang for the couple, then? It's honestly arduous to say at this level. The writers almost seem decided to keep them aside, or, possibly there is some sort of heartbreaking event about to spread that could tear Alex and Jo away for just right. Not that we're hoping for the worst, but as far as Alex and Meredith stans cross, that might be the only approach their courting can spice up them out of each other's pal zones... if they are able to in any respect.
With the next new episode of Grey's Anatomy scheduled to air quickly, we're going to have to wait and see what finally ends up transpiring between the couple, who appear to be in this for the long haul. But with a "real" marriage in the cards, that basically manner Meredith and Alex shippers will be left ready moderately a whilst to see their favorite "couple" if truth be told courting and pursuing marriage themselves.
