Throughout Season 2, their crew is split with Chishiya traveling along Ann Rizuna (Ayaka Miyoshi) as they play all new video games on their own in opposition to the heavy hitters controlling the contest.
Eventually, Chishiya and Ann are in a position to reunite with their pals in the penultimate episode. Unfortunately, their happy reunion is short-lived. In the midst of a gunfight, Chishiya finally ends up taking a bullet for Usagi.
