“It wasn’t mandated in the contract, and I probably — if I ever said the word contract, I didn’t mean it in that way. I was pitched that the trajectory of Kate is that she’s going to lose weight. That is who and what’s going on," Chrissy told PEOPLE.
Chrissy says she's positive with dropping weight for her position, and is treating it like how maximum actors treat any kind of bodily transformation they want to undergo to inform the nature's story. “Why not have a motivation past me to get to a wholesome weight? Every actor does that. We’re chameleons. We alternate, we grow as an actor… you lose weight, you gain weight, you change your hair or whatever.”

Of path, dropping or gaining weight for a role may also be triggering for plenty of actors (and most are supervised, so they don't lose or gain weight too quickly), so we hope that Chrissy is taking her bodily and psychological health tremendous severely and prioritizes herself ahead of the show (it appears like she is). At this point, it is unclear which season Kate will in the long run shed the kilos (nor can we know the way much she'll lose).
