What took place to 'The Real Housewives of D.C.? Here's why the reality collection was canceled after one season, and where the celebrities have moved onto.

Real Housewives fanatics are thrilled to be kicking off Memorial Day weekend with a Real Housewives of D.C. marathon on Friday, May 22. The beloved derivative collection is airing on Bravo from 6 a.m. ET until 2 p.m. ET, and as the series' single season used to be full of such a lot of gemstones, it's hard to imagine the D.C. iteration only lasted one season.

What came about to The Real Housewives of D.C.? Where are the celebrities of the sequence 10 years later? Here's an update since the sequence ended a full decade ago.

Why used to be 'The Real Housewives of D.C.' canceled?

True fanatics of the Bravo truth sequence know that Real Housewives of D.C. used to be historical. Not handiest was once the D.C. iteration the first and only Real Housewives franchise to get canceled after only one season, in line with Cheat Sheet, but it also had one of the most memorable scandals of all time when Michaele Salahi and her husband at the time, Tareq, crashed a White House dinner. Since the finale, Mary Amons divorced her hubby.

Two years after RHODC ended, Mary Amons divorced her husband of 26 years, Rich Amons, in step with Page Six. It doesn't seem as even though she has remarried. Lynda Erkiletian seems to be laying low.

Lynda turns out to have totally retired from the dramatic life of truth TV, and at the present time, she seems to be focusing more on her profession than the rest. Her Twitter bio boasts that she is the founder and president of a modeling firm called @theartistagency, and may be executive director of a charity that supports arts and sciences, referred to as @jpcoburnfdtn.

Despite the reality she is two times divorced with four kids, it kind of feels as even though Lynda's existence is general slightly non violent, in line with her laid-back Instagram process. It does, alternatively, seem as although she tries to stick related with more than a few Hollywood connections and through attending random events, so maybe we're going to see a fact TV comeback for our expensive friend Lynda.

Cat Ommanney hasn't given up on reality TV simply yet.

Cat ended up shifting out of D.C. and all of the as far back as England, prior to divorcing her White House photographer husband, Charles Ommanney, in step with New York Daily News. These days, she it seems that spends a lot of her time in Spain while her kids attend boarding faculty elsewhere. 

Apparently, Cat attempted to start out her own British truth collection a couple of years back, but it does not appear as regardless that it's taken off yet. We're hoping for the most productive, then again, as Cat's brutal honesty was once really best possible for truth TV.

Stacie Scott Turner is slaying in the real property biz.

Ten years after the collection ended, it sounds as if that Stacie Scott Turner has gone back to her roots in real estate, consistent with Trend Celebs Now, as she owns a real estate corporate in Maryland. At one point, Stacie can have been working on a televised venture called Redesigning Your Life, but it surely does not seem like that ever took off both.  

According to Washington Post, Stacie and her husband, Jason, have also parted ways because the collection wrapped... what may have been.

Michaele Salahi married a rockstar.

Michaele's 10-year-update is one of the interesting a number of the RHODC co-stars. According to The Washingtonian, Michaele had gone totally MIA for a while, and plenty of, together with her husband at the time, believed she had in fact been abducted. However, it turned out that she used to be simply getting hitched to Journey's guitarist, Neal Schon. She divorced Tareq, and in the long run married the affection of her existence.

It's unclear what Michaele does for paintings now, with the exception of for basking within the fame and wealth of her has-been rockstar husband. Truth be informed, her life really does not sound too shabby.

While the RHODC are plagued with a widely believed marriage curse, it sort of feels like they are all doing pretty well overall. We're rooting for each and every of them, regardless if they ultimately go back to TV.
