Sharon Osbourne loves dogs, especially Pomeranians. But she and Ozzy have long gone from proudly owning a couple of puppies to nine now, plus cats! Here’s what we all know.

They welcomed Dolly and Daizie nearly two years ago, which just leaves one mystery addition since then.

Asked what her pets have taught her, and what they may know about her that her husband doesn’t, she cheekily says, “My pets have taught me that I mostly prefer animals to people. Regarding the second question, unfortunately, I cannot divulge any intimate details or private confidences with my dogs.”

There’s been some drama involving the dogs.
Sharon created a stir by firing Ozzy’s assistant for his lack of a sense of humor right after he saved her dogs from their burning home. The family reportedly left a candle burning in the living room during the holidays, which caused a fire to break out. Ozzy himself caught fire, and Sharon ended up pushing him into a fountain to put it out.
Sharon woke Ozzy’s sleeping assistant and ordered him to retrieve paintings and their dogs from the home.
Once the dogs were saved and the assistant was given an oxygen mask, she took it off of him and placed it on her pup instead, instructing him to go back inside and get more paintings. Sharon and Ozzy were laughing over the entire thing, but the assistant said he couldn’t see the humor and expressed concern over possible lung damage.
"So then, [I used to be like], ‘If you don’t suppose that’s humorous, do you think that is humorous? And he is going, ‘What?’ I said, 'You’re fired.'"

She didn't have a soft spot for Ozzy’s assistant, but she does for cats.
While it’s clear that Sharon has a special affinity for dogs, she’s an all-around pet-lover. It’s a passion that began in her childhood with a family cat named Mrs. Smedley.
In addition to their pups, The Osbourne household is also home to two cats, Mo-Mo and Puss. She also celebrates #Caturday on her Instagram.

They’re also celebrating their new show on the Travel Channel called The Osbourne’s Want to Believe, where they explore the paranormal while serving up their own brand of (often hilarious) family dynamics. It stars Ozzy, Sharon, and their son, Jack Osbourne. The show premiered in early August, and as Variety reviews, used to be in large part filmed of their L.A. home, because of the coronavirus pandemic.
