Nicky Jam and Former Fiancée Cydney Moreau Have Ended Their Engagement

A year after reggaeton artist Nicky Jam, 40, popped the query to then-girlfriend Cydney Moreau, 25, on Valentine's Day of 2020, the couple is officially now not together. 

“I am hoping we last until we’re previous," he had written on Instagram at the time of their engagement. "I’m the happiest man on the planet and no person is going to change that.”

"There are lots of things involved," he endured, mentioning "[different] culture" and "languages." "Many little things that at the end, it didn't work out."

And while the romantic spark between them may well be a thing of the past, Nicky Jam refuses to bad-mouth his former fiancée.

"If I don't talk more about the topic, it's because I respect my ex-girlfriend," he went on. "I don't like to talk about another person when she is not there to defend herself and I feel a lot of love and respect for my ex-girlfriend."
