However, the Double Shot at Love star claimed that distance was a key factor in their split, telling Us Weekly in April 2018: "I love her. She’s an excellent woman. Long distance... She’s in California and I reside in New York. It’s simply too exhausting to stay up. I don’t feel sorry about anything. I truly care concerning the girl."

It has been one year since her split with the Jersey Shore star, and the Instagram model certainly seems to be doing well.

While she hasn’t posted about finding love again, Elicea revealed that she was accepted into nursing school. "Here I’m keeping my first actual acceptance letter to nursing college," she wrote in a November 2018 post. "After a 12 months of care taking bedside for patients starting from rehab to hospice, completing my necessities, and now running in scientific detox, I will be able to say I’ve come relatively a ways and discovered far more than I will have anticipated."
